Now what?
Great East Title will request some key information from you regarding the sale of your property. We will need to have you sign an authorization to collect mortgage payoff information from your current lender (if applicable) and we will also ask if you would like our title attorney to prepare your deed to transfer ownership.
Before packing all of your boxes, make sure you pull out any documents you have relating to your purchase or refinance of the property. Should a title matter arise, you may be asked for copies of your title insurance policy and any closing statements in your possession.
